tripped out today. Man, we live in a nice lookin' state. Was on the 5 heading north, not so curvy but nice! had a good lunch in Redding, burger, fries with fries sauce and a coke. It was really good! trippy pie and ice cream would have made finished the day off nicely.
ride fun stuff! I'm actually gonna tune and clean the bike up. I might even add a fairing since it's my commuter bike. I would love to tighten it a bit, visually and mechanically. we'll see.
in this picture, the headlight is gone cuz i crashed. bolts on the springer vibrated loose. so lock tight is your friend; use it. good thing the bike is under powered and going up hill when the front end gave out or i would have been in big trouble. i fixed the bike on the spot and was on the road in no time. this past weekend sure was fun! i plan on changing the bike a bit and go through it for safety. the bike should be ready for the sunny side up show this coming sunday. that's gonna be fun and a ride with chuck and his whizzer crew.
I'll be tinkering with this thing in addition to the Schwinn lowrider. I got it working and rideable the other night. The thing is a blast to peddle around. It needs a pass with steel wool, re-pad the seat and get the derailleur to work properly and it's good to go. I also want to find a set of small square headlight for it and a pair of small bullet tail tights. I'm so tempted to slap on an extended springer fork or girder.
picture taken by luke brown, it was taken from his blog: "mucus clown" http://mucasclown.blogspot.com/ it was fun keying in the bike and working out the in-betweens. We got a pencil test the next day and the bike was on the road back to so-cal. mechanic~animator...paper flipper~ wrench turner...puppeteer! oh, this little project was just a rough pass. Clean-up will take some time...
finished with the line work. it's kinda funky, gonna try to fix some stuff during the clean-up stage...
went on a 25 mile bike ride with the girlfriend (she's a trooper) on friday. boy, we are tired and sore! feel better now and lookin' forward to the next run. I rode with only one gear, it burned going up the hills. gettin' a bike with speeds ready for the next run too. ten speed? aluminum frame and springer front..maybe some narrow mini ape hangers, banana seat, sissy bar...got the bike for 15 bucks too. cheap clean fun! if i'd worked in the same city i live in, i probably wouldn't need a car or motorcycle B-)
redrawing this dragon to use it for part of a texture. grey scale texture. using line to convey shape and form. kinda like painting by drawing in your brush stokes. a real head bender, drawing shapes to conform onto a plain, visualizing what's ahead and trying to do it with the least amount of guides. i guess it's technical, a good challenge, fun stuff. visceral insanity.
i sometimes wonder if this dragon will become an icon...
"Khork Jet Sneah Srey- By Sin Sisamouth and Ros Sereysothea" took this off of youtube from :narinkhmer thanks for posting narinkhmer! this is new and old to me at the same time. I miss my culture...music, food, art, etc.
I have a little red bike. The bike is always breaking. When something does breaks, it's a good challenge to try to fix it. In the process, I also try to improve and modify the bike. Plenty of experimenting, but nothing crazy, it's just a bicycle. I'm learning a lot and having fun. I think I spend more time working on the bike than riding it. The motor on the bike is not even good to begin with, but it's still running. It's not the prettiest thing but it's really fun, my little red bike. Here's a picture: The xehaust is a modified pocket bike expansion chamber and it works well. You can actually feel the difference and sounds a bit cooler too. Silly red bike.
drew this up for MotoX Fox and they made a shirt out of it:
I'll post up the sketch or drawing soon, asap or when I find it. Hope who ever drops by here will like it.If not, it's okay. It's available online and I think a Fox store near you. Also, in hopes of learning how to type. I will be writing more (nonsense). Might cause some content warning...or not. We'll see.
